When Puppy Bowl first bounded on to the scene in 2004, it seemed destined to be a one-off of fluffy cuteness. The fact that it’s still around 11 years later is a credit to Animal Planet’s creativity. And truthfully, the pups themselves. It may not be clear how edgy the Super Bowl commercials or halftime show will be, but families know they can get a safe dose of puppy love at Animal Planet.
