The OWN team reimagined its site from the ground up, relaunching it in March 2014 with myriad new features that present fresh new ways for people to access all of the site’s resources, including easier access to lifestyle device and other content designed to improve lives. Among improvements was better content discovery, more deeply engaging apps and more exclusive content for fans—all within a social matrix that allows more sharing and communication among like-minded OWN viewers. Since the relaunch, video views and homepage visits are both up by 40% as a result of the new homepage feed and mobile usage is up as well.
