Jo, formerly senior director of business development at Vevo, now develops and oversees growth opportunities and strategy in digital media for Bravo and Oxygen, identifying new partnerships and growing revenue across digital platforms via alternative methods of monetization. The Harvard alum is also a swimmer. “I’ve developed a habit of always encouraging friends and colleagues to join me,” says Jo. “This may result in a conversation that would ordinarily take five minutes, spread over the breaks of a 20- minute set.”

What qualities do you look for when making a new hire?

Diverse interests and understanding of related but different industries, an ability to deconstruct presented ideas to explore possible new configurations and clarity of thought with precision for execution.

Changing behaviors in consumer consumption of content, i.e. how content is consumed on different platforms (current cable vs mobile vs SVOD) and what that means for content creators.
