She helmed popular CBS properties including “Survivor” and “The Amazing Race” before taking her talents to Discovery. “I love the ability to try different shows, new ideas, new talent, fresh execution and see what sticks,” says Daniels. These programs helped propel Discovery to its best fourth quarter ever in 2012.
