Williams’ recent achievements include leading NBCU’s first presentation of the Rio Olympics as a linear simulcast outside of the NBC Sports Live Extra app and enhancing the delivery of VOD to support a premium user experience and improved interface. She also continues to plan and lead the integration of NBCU’s network content on MVPD players including DirecTV Now, YouTube TV and Hulu. The business has made some progress with diversity, she acknowledges, but the race isn’t over yet. “The industry is certainly moving in the right direction and while that is encouraging, there is more work to be done.”
