Diaz spearheads ESPN’s diversity, inclusion and wellness strategy and ensures the organization maintains a contemporary, healthy and flexible work environment. This, of course, is no easy task but she continues to deliver strong results and forward-looking solutions. She led the creation of discussion forums where business groups come together to determine key behaviors they can prioritize to become more inclusive, in the way they act, work and think. In addition, her team is working on an initiative focused on engaging ESPN millennials in identifying the best ways to serve the younger demographic of sports fans. Of cable’s current climate she says, “Organizations that embrace change and excel in seeking different perspectives will raise to the top to lead the way on what is next to come.”
