Wilson’s span of influence encompasses WWE’s expanding universe of revenue lines, including television rights negotiations, expansion of the international business and the company’s social and digital media presence. She also spearheads the company’s billion-dollar consumer products business, sponsorship and sales, PPV, communications, community relations and more. Among her biggest recent accomplishment is the multi-tentacled WWE Network launch, and the multitude of partnerships that have ensued. As such, she’s got her eye fixed on viewing trends. Cable’s top story this year? “I would have said the Comcast/Time Warner Cable merger, but now it has to be HBO going OTT,” she says.

It is important for women who are leaders in the industry to mentor other women. It is also important to offer flexibility and support to working mothers.
