2014 was a landmark year for NCTA as it rebranded the Cable Show to INTX, the Internet and Television Expo, to better reflect changes in the industry. Powell isn’t a stranger to tremendous change and marketplace growth. During his tenure as chairman of the FCC, he worked to bring regulations into the 21st Century and to recognize the move of voice, video and data technologies away from limited analog platforms to digital applications that bring more value to consumers.
