Chun leads Discovery’s corporate development initiatives related to digital strategy. He continues to play an integral role in the development and growth of the company’s multiplatform and mobile strategy. For one, last year Chun and his team drove Discovery’s minority investment and strategic partnership to form Group Nine Media, a new holding company consisting of Thrillist, NowThis, The Dodo and Discovery’s digital network Seeker. He’s a board member of United Neighborhood Houses, a NYC non-profit comprising 38 settlement houses and community centers dedicated to serving New Yorkers in need of community support. “In an age of increasing economic and political polarization, organizations like UNH that improve the cohesiveness of diverse communities across the socioeconomic spectrum are more important than ever,” Chun says.
