GMC and Sportsman Channel
Talk about an innovative upfront. This year 500 buyers boarded the GMC bus to view presentations – and enjoy karaoke parties at night. An increase of 100% in revenue and new business was the result. Now also responsible for Sportsman Channel’s ad sales, direct-response ad sales were up 50% in her first three months. Her free time is most happily spent staging and redesigning – not buses, but interiors. She likes “maximizing the use of space with a limited budget. [I] love antique shutters and currently have a dozen,” recycled as headboards, interior windows, tables or as a stand-alone decorative objects.
