Robinson has a singular focus at Comcast: Taking better care of customers while improving operational metrics. To achieve that goal, he focuses on increasing “on times,” lowering “repeat visits” and taking care of technicians’ needs. In a tough economy, it’s important to never stop fighting for “what you want, and don’t get down on yourself,” he says. “Be different. Don’t rely solely on applying online for positions. Network, where possible, and when given the opportunity, distinguish yourself from others.”
