Where are the biggest growth areas for women in cable?
The biggest growth opportunity for women in cable is to support other women in their growth and development. We should be the best advocates for other women. I’ve seen great progress over the past few years, and I hope to see even more in the future.
What/who inspires you at work? What/who inspires you outside the office?
My team inspires me at work every day—all 550 of them! Comcast’s culture is very family-like, and my team lives and breathes it. We work as partners to accomplish our goal: deliver first class training for the talent in our organization in order to drive a terrific experience for all Comcast customers. Outside of the office, I’m most inspired by my eight-year-old granddaughter, Clara. She lives in North Carolina and I visit her one week out of every month. I love being special in her life.
Your favorite trick for unwinding?
I have several! Friday night dates over the past 30 plus years with my husband, Steve. A glass of wine at the end of a tough day. A phone call with my best friend—my sister, Naomi. And of course, a good comedy on Xfinity.
