Maria Deluca
Elevated this year to her new post, Deluca is now charged with creating marketing initiatives that emphasize multiscreen media usage and position Bravo as a leader in ad sales research. And she suggests the industry pay close attention to TV Everywhere. “It is going to change the way we consume media and measure it,” she says. “I’m excited to see how it all unfolds and be a part of it all.”
Who has been your strongest mentor, and why?
My mom. She is always behind me, cheering me on and telling me that I can do more. Growing up in Puerto Rico on a farm, her choices were limited. She encourages me to be better every day and has sacrificed so much to give me the opportunity to succeed.
What qualities do you look for when making a new hire?
I look for people that are passionate about what they do and are hungry to be the best.
