Lynne Costantini
Overseeing business operations and video content distribution across multiple platforms for TheBlazeTV.com is only part of Costantini’s role. Her work on affiliate agreements, overseeing business development, and handling government and regulatory affairs played a key role in the success of the multiplatform news and entertainment company. While she enjoys relaxing with her family, she has another way of unwinding. “There’s nothing like weeding the garden to eliminate the stress of negotiating affiliate agreements.”
Where are the biggest growth areas for women in cable?
Technology and social media, whether in the engineering or product management disciplines. Any areas where we can impact the ways in which people communicate and engage with one another and the great content and experiences this industry creates.
What’s the most important aspect of mentoring?
For me there are three: Listening, being fully present and keeping your word. Mentoring is not about you; it’s about the mentee and finding ways that your background and experience can lighten the load and bring focus to others’ career development and work/life challenges…..and then following through.
Your favorite trick for unwinding?
Spending quality time with my family enjoying great conversation, adventurous meals and outdoor activities. And there’s nothing like weeding the garden to eliminate the stress of negotiating affiliate agreements.
