Compression Engineer, Discovery Communications

Snyder’s completed many tasks to help ensure linear transmission of 80+ networks from Discovery’s broadcast facility.  He’s played an integral role in the installation, configuration and launch of 12 multiplexes that support transmission to Latin America. He worked to streamline the process, which was completed on time and with limited signal interruption to customers. Recently, he was tasked with supervising the upgrade of production compression systems to support additional time signaling messages to customers.
