Lisa Rosenblum
Rosenblum’s role leading all facets of government relations has included securing government contracts for WiFi service expansion, including the introduction of Optimum WiFi on the New Jersey transit system. She also oversees the company’s public affairs program, which executed more than 90 events in the last year. What’s been the biggest story in cable this year?
This is an exciting and dynamic time to be in the cable industry. Cablevision is at the forefront in developing the most innovative and customer focused service, as competition, over-the-top video and customer demands for more control over programming choices are challenging traditional business approaches. In the government affairs area, new regulatory approaches are required in recognition of marketplace changes.
How do you define a successful career?
To be engaged, excited, challenged and testing your talents every day. To be passionate about your work and feel you are making a genuine contribution.
Best trick for maintaining the personal-professional life balance?
A wonderful partner, lots of exercise and an enthusiasm for other outside interests.
