Rosenblum’s diverse resume no doubt helps her steer Cablevision’s daily public affairs endeavors. She served as a commissioner and deputy chair of the New York Public Service Commission, and chaired NARUC during the heady days around the 1996 Telecom Act. Rosenblum also served as an adviser on telecommunications policy in the Czech Republic and Poland as part of a state department delegation. The marriage of the network and content worlds intrigued her enough to attract her to cable, where she sees a vitality that continues to inspire her. “The creativity and excitement associated with the development of content and editorial voices infuses the industry,” she says.
