Mention the name AMC to anyone, and they’ll most likely bring up “Mad Men,” “Breaking Bad,” “The Walking Dead” or the network’s critical acclaim. Schupack has been a key part of defining the channel’s identity. “I have always loved television,” she confesses. “I grew up with great shows like ‘Mary Tyler Moore’ and ‘All in the Family,’ came to New York with ‘Seinfeld’ and ‘Friends’ – and now feel incredibly lucky to be a part of this new golden age of television, ushered in by ‘The Sopranos’ and ‘Sex and the City,’ currently anchored by ‘Homeland’ and ‘Downton Abbey’ – and of course ‘Mad Men’ and ‘Breaking Bad.’ A true embarrassment of riches.”
