During the past 12 months, Dillman has succeeded in expanding and enhancing QVC’s multiplatform capabilities through investments in new technologies. Under her leadership, QVC IT played a key role in the launch of QVC’s Apple Watch app and the QVC app for Apple TV. She’s an executive who isn’t afraid of taking risks and exploring new ways of doing things—which sometimes means making mistakes. However, making mistakes is a big part of learning and developing, she says, “as long as one learns from them and doesn’t repeat them.”

 

What advice would you give your 13-year-old self?

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Making mistakes is a big part of how you learn and develop – as long as you learn from them and don’t repeat them!
