How do you define a successful career?
I define success as knowing that your contributions are valued and that you have made an impact in your organization and on your team’s development. I have had the good fortune of leading some of the best and brightest marketers in the industry and I owe any success that I have achieved in great part to them.
Best trick for maintaining the personal-professional life balance?
Yoga, family and friends and perspective. Remembering to ask myself, “How important will this issue be in one month? One year? Five years?” I keep a motto on my desk that helps me keep my priorities straight: “Never get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life.”
When not in the office, where are we most likely to find you?
With family and friends in Brooklyn or Manhattan, at the beach or park, taking in a play or musical or seeing a great speaker at the 92Y…and did I mention Yoga?
