Collaboration among C suite-level executives is a key to Cablevision’s growth and ability to implement new strategies and initiatives—and keep shareholders happy. Sweeney is the senior exec who coordinates the efforts of all business units, with Dolan concentrating on the cable and ad sales side. To them, network management is just as important as customer service, commercial and residential customers are all equally valued, and one business unit can only succeed when the others do as well. With that balance top of mind, it’s no wonder Cablevision continues to succeed.
