Managing Cablevision’s Optimum Services had Dolan overseeing increased broadband speeds for Optimum Online customers, the expansion of WiFi and TV to GO services, and enhancements to Cablevision’s cloud-based DVR service that now allows customers to record 10 shows at once. By coordinating efforts across Cablevision’s business groups, Sweeney helped the company enhance a whole lot of products—multi-room DVRs, increased broadband speeds, improved WiFi, a new program guide and an expanded Optimum App—while also reducing the number service and repair calls. Their combined emphasis on customer service also involved short-form messaging on the Optimum Channel and a new system that alerts customers to outages and let them know when the issues should be resolved.
