Katie Douglas plays Sally Wilcox, a young lady who is sarcastic and funny—and, man, can she scream. We aren’t the only ones who have noticed the high schooler’s acting chops. She was nominated for a Daytime Emmy award earlier this year in the category of performer in a children’s series. Perhaps what makes Sally Wilcox seem like a pretty typical teen is that she’s played by a pretty typical teen. The Burlington Post of Burlington, Ontario Canada, reports the 15-year-old found out about the nomination at school. “It was weird. I was sitting in my class and someone emailed me about it. I said ‘What?’ Douglas told the paper. “I had to ask the teacher if I could call my mom.”
