When you think of women’s networks, HSN may not be top of mind. But make no mistake: HSN is a network targeted foremost for women. And more than 50% of its executive leadership is comprised of women. CFO Schmeling has earned a reputation as a transparent leader and a strong supporter of HSN’s advanced services. She joined the company in 1994 and was named CFO in 2001. “There are so many opportunities out there for women today,” she says. “You have to be willing to work in different areas and get outside your comfort zone and take risks.”
