Philpott provides legal counsel to internal business clients. She has tremendous industry relationships, and is relied upon for her broad expertise of video, broadband and telephone regulations. Philpott manages all advocacy filings at the FCC as well as across 18 states in the various public utilities commissions. She is a co-chair for the Atlanta Chapter of the Federal Communications Bar Association, and was recently appointed to serve on the national board of directors. The owner of two black Labrador retrievers (named “Hugs” and “Kisses”), Philpott is a founding member of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys and Sister-to-Sister Mentoring program, which benefits at-risk young girls.
