In 2013, Schanz and Werner helped Comcast rank 37 on InfoWeek’s 500 list for its innovative use of technology. Schanz was pivotal in developing a technology strategy to deploy new, complementary communications products and services, such as a private cloud computing network that leverages IP technology, and infrastructure to power next-generation consumer experiences. Werner guides technology strategy and evolving network architecture, supporting next-gen consumer systems and technologies, infrastructure and engineering, network integration and management tools including the X1 Entertainment Operating System. As the head of Comcast Labs, Werner shepherds thousands of engineers, product designers and experience architects as they work to create tomorrow’s products.
