Cox remains an innovation powerhouse under the measured watch of Campbell. During the last 12 months, she has played an instrumental role in launching Contour, the ground-breaking video platform that’s changing the personal video experience. Looking ahead, she’ll continue to build on the successes of Contour and spearhead the rollout and integration of Cox Home Security to all regions. Campbell values collaboration with peers and colleagues, and appreciates the benefit of different perspectives. “It isn’t enough to be mentors,” she says. “We have to be sponsors.”

How can cable do a better job at supporting the industry’s women?

The best way we can support women in our industry is to ensure that as leaders in our companies we sponsor young women for key roles. It isn’t enough to be mentors, we have to be sponsors. In addition, providing learning experiences such as the ones WICT provides through Betsy Magness are great ways to develop women in our industry.

How do you define a successful career?

For me, a successful career will be when I look back, I see a group of really amazing leaders that I helped develop and promote to ensure that Cox is thriving for many years to come.

When not in the office, where are we most likely to find you?

You will most likely find me hanging out with my 4th grade daughter and 9-month-old granddaughter – now that is the good stuff!
