Overseeing day-to-day relationships with national distributors is just one facet of Fang’s job. She also deals with some of the division’s most complex partnerships—representing more than half of Fox’s distribution revenue—and is constantly developing and refining new distribution models while negotiating carriage deals for the company’s portfolio of brands, as well as its digital, on-demand and emerging platforms. In her free time, Fang stays busy with her four young children and works with Hope for LA, an organization that helps underserved and marginalized people. And she keeps up with current TV shows. Asked which best embrace diversity, Fang answers, “Fresh Off the Boat,” “Empire” and “any Shonda Rhimes show.”
