SVP, Digital Distribution

NBCUniversal

It’s no secret that digital’s on fire. And Jennifer Pirot, who has honed her skills and knowledge base over 15 years as a media exec, is right in the middle of it. Her amazing 2014 saw success on multiple fronts. Not only did she secure NBCU’s first OTT deal with Sony, but she also worked with the TVND team to deliver TVE rights for the entire NBCU portfolio of networks to the MVPD industry, reaching more than 90% of multichannel homes. She also oversaw VOD licensing deals that now bring in over 850 million transactions per year. And her role in ensuring TV Everywhere played a big role in NBCU’s Sochi Olympics coverage resulted in more than 1,000 hours of live streaming content, with 4.8 million devices successfully verified with a 54% success rate. That’s a 50% improvement from a 36% success rate during the 2012 London Games.
