Heller oversees the internal processes for promoting and ensuring Comcast’s compliance with laws, regulations, company policies and contracts, including chairing its enterprise-wide Compliance Committee, which oversees its compliance risk management and internal complaint reporting programs. She’s also responsible for formulating and implementing Comcast’s policies and procedures, including its code of conduct, and making sure they are trained upon across the company. “I think NBC’s ‘The Voice’ empowers women by giving Alicia Keys the opportunity to showcase her authentic, no-make-up self to millions of viewers each episode,” she says.
What advice would you give your 13-year-old self?
I would tell my 13-year old self to get involved, try new things and get out of your comfort zone. This is a great time to dabble and start identifying your passions.
Which current programming best reflects the kind of women’s roles you like to see and why?
I think NBC’s “The Voice” empowers women by giving Alicia Keys the opportunity to showcase her authentic, no-make-up self to millions of viewers each episode.
What’s been the biggest story in cable this year?
I think the biggest story for Comcast this year has been voice. Our X1 voice remote has changed the way people watch television.
