Welch serves as the executive human resources partner to Turner’s international business units, overseeing all human resources functions and ensuring strategic alignment of Turner’s global HR efforts. She has led Turner’s corporate- level global talent management, diversity and development functions, succession planning, performance-management, diversity initiatives, learning and development and organizational-development strategies and programs. Welch believes “diversity is important to cable’s bottom line because diverse communities will support media that reflects them. If we create it, they will watch.”
