What’s the definition of diversity in 2014, and how can the cable industry do better in the area of inclusiveness?

Diversity is a broad mix of experiences, ideas and perspectives that can all be brought together to solve business issues. What qualities do you look for when making a new hire?

Having a team that is capable of analyzing new business challenges and presenting options and solutions to those challenges can make all the difference in excelling in a competitive environment. I also look for a team player. We all have busy, stressful moments in our daily lives. Having someone who is flexible enough to work through these times, without losing their cool, makes the experience a lot more pleasant.
