President/CEO
Fox International Channels

One thing’s for certain: Hernan Lopez has a big job. As head of Fox International, he oversees 183 channels, with a combined reach of 300 million subscribers in 35 languages across Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa. But wait, there’s more. Among recent accomplishments, in March he formed the Fox Hispanic Media Group, a specialized group of networks dedicated to helping marketers more effectively target the U.S. Hispanic market. He also recently he oversaw the acquisition of Fox Networks, a digital media agency in Latin America with an online footprint of 900 million unique users monthly. On diversity in the industry, Lopez says cable has helped make diversity programming and its funding possible. “Cable has been instrumental in proving that the more people see themselves reflected on TV, the more they’ll watch,” he says.
