Henry Ahn
Ahn oversees both traditional and linear distribution, and he also works with the ever-increasing number of businesses seeking high-quality digital content. Despite declining pay-TV subscriptions, his team secured significant distribution deals with nontraditional distributors and rolled out an update to the TVE apps for HGTV, Food Network, Travel Channel, DIY Network and Cooking Channel. The usage of the apps saw YOY growth of between 50 percent to 120 percent, just one example of Ahn’s success in reaching cord-cutting millennials. Ensuring the cable industry continues to employ a diverse workforce at all levels even overlaps with Ahn’s charitable work. He sits on the board of the T. Howard Foundation, “which strives to promote diversity in the media/entertainment industry. We have a great internship program that fosters career development for minority college students.”
