Greg Ireland is a Research Manager in the Consumer Markets: Video program at IDC. In this role, Mr. Ireland focuses on consumer video products, services and technologies. He has expertise and provides analysis on the ways in which digital video content is distributed and consumed. Specific areas of focus include online video, digital cable, satellite and IP television, digital video recorders (DVRs), video on demand (VOD), digital set-top boxes, and the connectivity of video devices over a home network. Mr. Ireland has been quoted in numerous publications including the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, the International Herald Tribune, and USA Today, and has been seen on CNBC.
