Mr. Hart joined Infinera in 2007, where he now serves as Director, MSO Market Segment.  In this role he is responsible for the development and execution of strategic business plans for the CATV market.  He has served in the optical networking industry for over ten years and has over 25 years experience in the CATV industry serving in numerous executive roles responsible for the development and marketing of broadband systems and products.

Prior to joining Infinera, Mr. Hart served as MSO Business and Architecture Development Director for Meriton and Mahi Networks, and as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for NEC Eluminant Technologies, a manufacturer of broadband FTTP access systems.   He founded  and was CEO of Flash Point Networks, a broadband optical Ethernet access equipment start-up, and prior to this he was the CTO and Vice President of Business Development at XEL Communications, a manufacturer of voice and data access equipment.  Prior to XEL, Mr. Hart served as Vice President of Engineering for ANTEC (now Arris).  He began his career in the cable industry as an engineer with Hamlin, designing set-top convertors and video scrambling/descrambling systems.

Mr. Hart is a Senior member of the SCTE and IEEE.  He holds BA and BS degrees from Southern Methodist University and a Masters degree from Western Washington University.  He holds two CATV related patents.
