MacKinnon’s busy year has included helping to lead the charge to gain regulatory approval for Time Warner Cable’s merger with Comcast. She still has other political hot potatoes to worry about too, including net neutrality. Outside of TWC, she serves on the board of WICT as chair of the Finance committee, and is co-chair of the Ford’s Theatre Society’s 100 Committee. Despite the very full plate, she keeps it all in balance. “Success is taking your work seriously and yourself lightly,” she tells us.

When not in the office, where are we most likely to find you?
