The tide continues to rise at OWN. Last year Logan and Salata brought original scripted programming to OWN for the first time with three Tyler Perry-produced series—“The Haves and the Have Nots,” “Love Thy Neighbor” and “For Better or Worse.” Those shows helped lead OWN through a second consecutive year of double-digit ratings increases. Working as equals and co-managing both the network and Harpo Studios, which produced 34% of the network’s original content in 2013, enables this duo to tackle challenges and consider opportunities from two perspectives without straying from Winfrey’s vision.
