Herzog’s roots will always be at Comedy Central, but this top exec now also oversees growing nets Spike and TV Land, whose “Hot in Cleveland” continues to reinvigorate Betty White’s red-hot career. Meanwhile, Comedy’s brand-new iPhone and iPad app includes full episodes from the most recent season of “South Park” and next-day availability of “The Daily Show With Jon Stewart” and “The Colbert Report.” Ganeless is also amping up things at online site CC: Stand-Up Direct, recently offering the “Tracy Morgan: Bona Fide” special for download a week before the special aired on the network. These are a couple of dynamos—and that’s no joke.
