The Walter Kaitz Foundation is a cable institution, standing at the nexus of cable’s commitment to diversity. As its seasoned exec director, Porter oversees day-to-day management of the organization including the allocation of foundation funds in support of cable industry diversity efforts and development of an industry-wide supplier diversity initiative. Porter’s role as a leader in diversity extends well beyond the cable world. This spring he participated in the inaugural media summit of the Congressional Caucus on Multicultural Media, which featured a panel discussion on the 2017 Hollywood Diversity Report.
