Syfy’s original drama “Defiance” turned TV into a transmedia experience where fans actively immersed themselves in the show’s futuristic world through a live gaming experience which, in turn, impacted on-screen action. And let’s not forget “Sharknado,” which became an instant pop-culture hit thanks to the Twitter-verse. At Chiller, Howe is ramping up original programming with executive producing partners including Drew Barrymore.
