Upped to a new post this February, Phillips now leads a technical product management team that develops company-wide technical product roadmaps and partners with engineering on delivery. He advises company leaders on how to best leverage technology to enhance content, operations and monetization. Moreover, all technical requests are vetted by Phillips, who then ensures that they are tied to specific goals and strategies. The biggest change experienced by the industry of late? “Changes in consumer preference and behavior, technology disruption, and velocity of change,” he says.
