Comcast Spotlight’s double mission: Update its app to better promote the many ways the company can help advertisers target potential customers while also educating businesses about the wide range of interactive capabilities now available. The new app does just that and more. It not only provides info on various options, but it also includes an iTV Emulator that lets advertisers test out interactive tools and work directly on screen with sample ads. They can also learn how other Comcast Spotlight clients have used the functionality to increase sales. The app even includes 18 of the most commonly sought demographics so users can choose one and then see all the options available to them. To date, thousands of unique visitors have viewed more than 10K pages through the app, suggesting that engagement doesn’t just work with consumers. It works with ad clients too.
