The X1 conversion digital marketing campaign, targeting a total of 3 million customers, has resulted in over 150,000 X1 conversions to date for an overall conversion rate of 5%. Components included a highly interactive web page and a way for eligible customers to quickly place a free X1 upgrade online. This was tied to a well-organized back-end, where customer agents could enter orders to trigger shipments of self-install kits. Through the process, Comcast successfully migrated current customers from legacy TV to the X1 platform by using free equipment swaps or through X1 package upgrades. Comcast estimated a 900% ROI for the campaign.
