It has been a big year for Abdoulah. She successfully transitioned leadership of WOW! to Steve Cochran and Cathy Kuo, who became CEO and COO, respectively, in April. Meanwhile, WOW! picked up two new JD Power Associates awards and multiple Best Place to Work honors that reflect on her work as CEO before the transition. In addition, she received the ACA Chair Award for leadership of that organization and was inducted into the Cable Pioneers. Her advice for better supporting women in the industry? “Develop and recruit more women for corporate boards and technological leadership positions.”
