Claudia Teran
Teran was the legal lead for Fox’s winning bid for FIFA tournament rights in 2018 and 2022, and this year she was key to extending Fox Sports’ rights to the FIFA portfolio, including the FIFA World Cup and FIFA Women’s World Cup through 2026. Teran was also involved in the digital strategy for renewing deals with the major leagues, including an NFL deal that keeps the NFC package on Fox Sports through the 2022 season, and post-season rights and three Super Bowls. She also advised on key acquisitions in Latin America, including Fox Sports Brazil. Her personal campaign slogan? Just Do It. “My working style is not one to sit and stew on things. If we have an issue, I want to move fast to put a plan in place to deal with it.”
The technology that will most benefit cable over the next year is…
Mobile devices. I believe that with the moves we are all making to engage improved technologies that communicate better between content providers and content distributors, the increased additive availability of our content everywhere our viewers want to watch will benefit the entire ecosystem.
My personal election campaign slogan would be…
Just Do It. My working style is not one to sit and stew on things. If we have an issue, I want to move fast to put a plan in place to deal with it… and get moving!

I am on the Board of Governors for the Otis College of Art and Design, and I am very proud of my involvement with this amazing school. This college does an exceptional job at educating and training the next generation of artists in areas such as fine arts, fashion, digital media, and toy design. Their student body draws heavily from minority backgrounds, granting copious amounts of financial aid, and enabling a lot of kids to follow the arts when they are the first person in their families to go to college. I’m really passionate about enabling these kids to follow their dreams.
