In a NAMIC “Mentor Minute,” she advised against “majoring in the minor,” which she says is a fancy way of saying, “Don’t sweat the small stuff.” “We all know in the course of the day, we consistently, constantly get drawn into activities that are not always in support of primary priorities. At the end of the day, when you think about where you spent the majority of your time and energy, make sure the majority of that time and effort was in support of the priorities,” she said.
