President
Univision Networks

A visionary in fostering partnerships with distributors, Conde has led Univision to its position as a leading media company. He’ll continue his guidance over the soon to launch networks Univision telenovelas for novelas, news net Univision 24/7 and sports hub Univision Deportes. Under his leadership, the company launched its 2010 Census campaign, and the Es El Momento education initiative. Earlier this year, he was appointed to President Obama’s Advisory Commission on Education for Hispanics. “For Univision, diversity is one of our core values as we recognize that we need to focus on diversity across regions, ethnicities, demographics and programming offerings,” he says. To further support diversity, Conde recommends the cable industry focus on outreach to attract students with diverse backgrounds and recruit talent with diverse backgrounds to drive innovation. What excites him about cable? “Our ability to work in partnership with our distributors to further engage with Hispanics and grow our business,” he says.
