That has led her to launch Rentrak’s video-on-demand business. She calls VOD “a tremendous new revenue stream available to the industry.” Hetzel has also expanded Rentrak’s set-top box-based television measuring business.

Denver University Set to Buy Cable Center Building

The Syndeo Institute at The Cable Center has entered into a tentative agreement with the University of Denver to sell the more than 75,000-square-foot building that’s housed the nonprofit educational arm of the cable industry since 2001. Financials weren’t disclosed.
