These executives prove that clarity and simplicity can improve customer satisfaction and spur growth. During her first six months as CFO of Comcast Cable, Avgiris’ product management experience and operational knowledge helped her quickly define areas for improvement. She implemented a finance competency model and worked to simplify business processes. Meanwhile, her self-installation operations team has seen a 40% increase in self-installations YOY. On the operations side, Watson has more than met customer growth targets for video, high-speed Internet and voice. Key to his success was improving customer service through social media interaction, mobile bill pay, 1-hour appointment windows and managing customer expectations. Stemper’s focus on developing innovative communications products—including 10 Gbps Ethernet and a cloud-based phone system—has won fans among commercial customers ranging from small businesses and institutions to large corporations and healthcare organizations. And if Comcast gets Time Warner Cable, he’ll soon have several big new markets to conquer.
